Disaster Assessment and Response Team- Vohipeno

Though Cylcone Chedza was not classified higher than a category 1 storm it still damaged large regions of the west and east coast of Madagascar. Tim will travel to Vohipeno on the east coast tomorrow to begin assessment of the area to determine if our organization will join in the relief efforts. Much of the town has been underwater until yesterday. With the waters receding, he and other Ms will attempt to gain access to begin surveying the damage.

Please Pray:

  • they safely gain access to the town and the villages where Ms have established relationships
  • they have wisdom as they assess the condition of the people.
  • for the people of Madagascar who have suffered great loss because of the storm. Some of our Ms reported houses being swept away by the flood waters and not being able to rescue them.

  1. Hope this finds you and the children doing well. Glad you are ok from the storm. Praying for the people and the missionaries as the minister to their needs. Also praying for safety of all.
