Cyclone Funso has decided to overstay his welcome in the Mozambique Channel, amassing speed and destructive power. The path prediction has changed over 50 degrees in the last twelve hours making it hard to know for certain where he may unleash his fury. We are on the east coast of Madagascar so there is no concern for a direct hit. We are concerned for friends who live and serve in Southwest Mada. We could possibly receive massive amounts of rain causing flooding and washing out the road, but we do live in a rainforest so this is of little surprise for us. If it heads for land, pray for those in its path, particularly those who have the most to lose: homes, planting fields, livestock, essentially their means for survival.
