Via, the life…

This post is for you… (you know who you are)

Outside of Zandina, our favorite restaurant, five hours from our house.

Returning from the airport run for Anna’s family we picked up Vololona [Voo-loo-loo-nah].

Our family has a saying about Madagascar, “There’s always room…”

IMB personel are not allowed to have a pool at their house… Please don’t tell Lottie on us…

She goes to work with her mom everyday, to the rock quarry. Her mom smashes granite rock into gravel everyday and sells it along the roadside. To make concrete here you buy a bag of cement, granite on the side of the road and sand from a river bank…

Melts in your mug, not on the road…

Anna wants to know what’s in the bag. Judah wants to know why its on her head.

  1. Yay! Tim, I really like that first picture of you and Anna in the window. I love Anna’s expression, and I love yours. It’s a perfectly fun family pic. I love it; very creative. Anna, the picture by the pool is sweet; the kids are getting big – you guys look like you’re having a great time. And I won’t tell Lottie. And, Anna, you are T.I.N.Y…you look beautiful, but you better not get any smaller!! Goodness! I guess that’s what living in Madagascar and running after two kids will do, right?! Thanks for posting the pics; I love each and every one of them! Keep em’ coming every once in a while, okay?! We LOVE family pics 😉

Love you guys and miss you.

  2. When you look at faces like the little girl from the rock quarry, you just think about the impact that you get to be to the coming generations in your town there. I bet it makes leaving all your comforts behind and moving half way across the world worth it to know that kids like her and their future generations will most likely get to hear the gospel from their own people, partially because you said ‘Yes.’ You said yes to going and telling these sweet people about Jesus, and helping them grow a self-sustaining evangelical church. Can’t you just imagine 20 years down the road what the body of believers may look like there?! How awesome!

I know it’s not easy. But what you are doing is worth it. Just remember what a kingdom impact you are making, day in and day out.

  3. Hey AA,It’s great to see a picture of you and the kids. So cute! I think of you a lot. Sending my LOVE and PRAYERS. MG
