Ambohibory (ABY) is a 15 minute hike from the main road and a one hour hike from AKZ. The area consists of several families living close together in typical Betsileo-style housing. We first engaged this area in early January, 2012. Through seed sowing some have believed the gospel and obeyed in baptism. Everyone who lives in ABY is Betsileo, not Tanala. Together, they moved here from Ambohimahasoa more than ten years ago and bought the land from a Tanala man who lived in Ambodipaiso (a larger village along the main road about 2Km south of ABY).

Rajean is one of two men from ABY who have believed and have been baptized.

Pray for Rajean:

• that God would develop him into a leader for his family and for the believers in ABY.
• that he would hold on to the gospel he first believed in January, 2012.

Bertine is Rajean’s wife. She has also believed and was baptized in the rice field below their home.

Pray for Bertine:

• that God would make her bold. She is very quiet, but if she speaks her words are sincere and true.
• that she continue to help and serve Vaonala, another mother in ABY who has no husband.
